Industrial Project Innovation (IPI) announced that the team has welcomed Chris Ivester as their new Controller. Chris will be based at the home office in Greenville, South Carolina.
Chris has over two decades of accounting experience. He specializes in the AEC industries. Previously, he has held roles at Fluor, Day & Zimmerman, and CH2M Hill. He has experience in both project finance and corporate accounting roles across a wide range of construction market segments. Chris has led several corporate wide process improvement initiatives focused on improving performance of financial controls and systems.
Chris will provide leadership and direction for the company’s financial activities. He will also offer strategic recommendations to executive management. He has been chosen to spearhead the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that will benefit the organization as a whole. Additionally, he will be responsible for financial reporting to internal and external organizations, as well as, streamlining and enhancing the company’s financial controls.
Chris is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He graduated from Anderson University in Anderson, SC with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He then went on to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia to earn a Master’s in Accounting.
Chris will be a valuable asset to our organization based on his AEC experience and alignment with our core values and culture.
